PSEO INFORMATION FOR NEW PSEO STUDENTS
Information sessions regarding PSEO (post-secondary enrollment options ) will be offered for students and their families in the months ahead. A list of dates and times are shown below. It is mandatory that both the student and parent/ guardian attend one of these sessions in order to participate in PSEO for the Fall semester of 2025.
January 28, 2025. 5:00pm-5:45pm (Conference Night). Location: Auditorium
February 4, 2025. 5:00pm-5:45pm (Conference Night). Location: South Lecture Hall
April 28, 2025. 5:00pm-5:45pm (Conference Night). Location: South Lecture Hall
* In the event that you cannot attend any of the mandatory PSEO meetings; you will need to watch the "Informational Video" , found on our PSEO page, and complete the "Viewing Video Confirmation" survey.

Our Homework Help Center is available to students after school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30-4:50pm

Students who qualify to be an IB certificate scholar or have been accepted into the IB Career or IB Diploma programs received letters this week about their status or acceptance. If students have questions or concerns or did not receive a letter but think they should have, please have them contact Ms. Brown (ashley.brown@ahschools.us) with any questions.
MCA Testing Dates
MCA stands for Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment. This is a statewide, annual test that measures achievement on the Minnesota Academic Standards in reading, mathematics, and science. These sets of assessments are required to be administered as part of federal and state legislation. These tests are also used to help determine intervention needs and resources for students.
10th grade students will take the MCA Reading test
11th grade students will take the MCA Math and MCA Science tests
This year testing will be given in the classroom:
MCA Reading-in their English part B class:
Tri 2 on March 3rd and 4th
Tri 3 on March 26th and 27th
MCA Math-in their History part B class
Tri 2 on March 3rd and 4th
Tri 3 on March 26th and 27th
MCA Science-in their Bio part B class
Tri 2 on March 4th and 5th
Tri 3 on May 1st and 2nd
Additional testing dates for make-up tests and students not in one of these classes at CPHS will be announced later and students will be notified through email if they are testing at a different time or location from what is listed above. Leo Club Children's Book Drive
The CPHS Leo Club would like to support I Love To Read Month by collecting new or gently used children's books through the month of February. Books will be shared with our feeder elementary schools and Adventures +. Books can be dropped off in boxes at the library or Career Center until February 28th.

Senior Party News
Registration for the Party
Registration for the CPHS Class of 2025 senior party will open up towards the end of February. Details on how to sign up will be posted on multiple platforms, including the Rebel Reader. Stay Tuned!
Grad Yard Signs
Celebrate your senior by highlighting their success on your lawn! Purchase a grad sign for $20! Kick-off Sales event for the CPHS Grad signs will take place on Friday, February 28th. Students can purchase signs in the W3 atrium from 2:15-2:30. Drive-up sales on the east side of the building will be offered from 2:15-6:00pm.

Direct Donation Request
We will take any gift cards of any amount to be used as prizes. Please consider a direct donation to the party by giving gift cards. Suggested Places: Target, Holiday Gas Cards, fast food places, teen clothing stores, Ulta, Walmart, coffee stores, movie theaters, Door Dash, Visa cards, Amazon, etc. Contact: Georgia Larson (georgia.larson@ahschools.us) for drop off.
