Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- this will be our final Falcon Flyer until the 2nd week of August. Thank you for all of the community support of our students and programs this past year. Ridgeline High School takes pride in creating a positive culture that, in turn, has a positive impact on our kids and community. I’m pretty sure the readership for this edition will be lower than normal, so am only highlighting a few topics.
First Day of School, August 27, 2025: We will be doing a staggered start. Freshman and ANY new students to Ridgeline will be invited on campus, 1st period, at our regular start time. All other students will arrive for lunch/4th period. The actual Bell Schedule will be sent in August, as the periods won’t be the same as a regular day. Just note the appropriate Arrival Time. Busses will run during their regular a.m. route, AND they will do a late morning route for all other bus riders coming during the later start time. Parent drop-off and student drivers should arrive at the appropriate time, based on your classification.
Bell Schedule: See our revised bell schedule for 2025-2026 below. Two changes of note: Advisory will take place on Tuesday after 2nd period. Thursday will be a full hour late start.
Registration/Counseling: There are some specific times and dates below to take care of any registration/class schedule matters prior to the first day of school.
Summer office hours are below.
Wishing you all a great Independence Day and all that summer has to offer!
See you in August! --Mr. Hardt

We will also allow students to request elective changes upon availability.

Paddles UP, Falcons Auction
This year’s auction was a shining example of what makes our Ridgeline community so special! With the participation of 21 school teams and clubs, we came together for a night filled with excitement, camaraderie, and incredible support from our community.
The event not only showcased the dedication and teamwork of our students, staff, and families but also highlighted the strong bond we share with our community. These funds will go a long way in supporting our programs and providing new opportunities for our students.
A huge thank - you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a resounding success. It was truly a celebration of Falcon pride, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s auction in early March! Keep on the lookout for details!

CVSD Cell Phone Policy 2025-2026
Ridgeline Families,
As we continue to prioritize student well-being and learning, we want to share an important update regarding CVSD’s revised board policy on student cell phone and device use. These changes are the result of thoughtful research, feedback from families and staff, and alignment with our district’s strategic plan.
Beginning August 2025, Ridgeline students will only be permitted to use mobile devices before and after school and during lunch. Devices will not be allowed during instructional time or passing periods. This aligns closely with the policy we implemented at Ridgeline during the 2024–25 school year. The main change for next year is the shift to not allowing devices during passing periods, which previously had been permitted.
Over the past school year, we’ve already seen a positive impact on student engagement and on-task behavior during instructional time, and we’re hopeful that this revised board policy will continue that momentum and reinforce responsible cell phone and device use moving forward. Students will still be allowed to use mobile devices in emergencies involving imminent physical danger, as long as it is safe to do so.
“Mobile devices” include, but are not limited to, cell phones, smartwatches, headphones/earbuds/speakers, and non-medical listening devices. For more information about how this policy was developed, specific guidelines, and consequences for violations, please visit this website.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to help students stay focused and present in their learning. We wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable summer!
