CMAS Assessment Schedule and Reminders
As students get ready to take the CMAS this week, please help them remember to:
- Eat a good breakfast and bring a snack
- Charge their student laptop device each and every night
- Leave cell phones/smart watches at home if possible or keep them in their lockers, as cell phones/smart watches must be collected and cannot be in the testing environment.

Teen Volunteers Wanted for Summer at Loveland Library!
Teen Summer Learning Volunteers Needed. Earn service hours, give back to your community, and have fun this summer as a Teen Summer Learning Volunteer at the Loveland Public Library.
Plus, if you complete at least 10 hours of service, you’ll be invited to an exclusive end-of-summer celebration at Flipside Arcade just for teen volunteers.
What You'll Do:
• Help kids and families navigate the Summer Learning Program
• Hand out and track prizes
• Assist with library events
• Organize and shelve books in the Children’s and Teen sections
Qualifications:
• Must be entering 6th-12th grade or between the ages of 11-17
• Commit to at least 10 hours of service from May 23 – August 1
• Comfortable using Signup Genius to schedule shifts
• Enjoy working with younger children and families
• Follow library rules and behavioral expectations
• Advocate for reading and library programs
• Organize and shelve books appropriately
Schedule & Training:
• Mandatory training: Week of May 12 or May 19
• Shifts: Monday-Saturday in 2-hour time slots based on library hours
• Programming shifts may be longer and will be determined later
• Shelving shifts may be scheduled outside regular hours

TSD Annual Family Check In

This yearly update is required for every student enrolled in Thompson School District for the 2025-2026 school year. Parents/guardians in the student’s primary household need to complete the application by reviewing and updating household, emergency contact, student health information and permissions via the link. Summer Scholars - STEAM
The TSD Summer Scholars Program offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in focused academic enrichment over the summer. Our amazing Thompson School District teachers will work closely with each student, providing personalized attention in a collaborative and positive environment. By participating, your child will gain the confidence and skills necessary to excel when school resumes!
Classes are offered for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade and will run June 9th-26th at multiple TSD locations. Registration opens Monday, March 17th.
Adult English Classes
A new section of English classes for adult learners will begin April 1 and continue through May 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays will be in person at Peakview Academy, 6:00-7:30 pm, with free childcare available. Thursdays will be online, 6:00-7:30 pm, to provide participants extra practice. The course flyers in multiple languages can be found here. There is a registration link and QR code on the flyers that will allow you to sign up for either the beginner class or the intermediate class.
TSD Chromebook Insurance
Thompson School District has partnered with Safeware, a leader in product protection since 1982, to provide a comprehensive plan to protect your students' devices. The open enrollment period for next school year will be May 1st to May 24th. You may visit the website here to read more, search what exactly is covered as well as the cost for your student's device, and sign up via the portal.
