Our Week at Reutter School
Week of January 20, 2025
School Nurse's Message
Dear Reutter School Families,
It seems like winter has officially arrived! It is important to be proactive about keeping our
students healthy and safe during the colder months.
Here are a few tips and updates from the school nurse’s office:
1. Flu Season: Flu activity is on the rise, and we encourage all families to ensure their
children are up-to-date with flu vaccinations. If your child is feeling unwell, please keep
them home until they are fever-free for at least 24 hours.
2. Cold Weather Tips: New Jersey winters can be unpredictable! Be sure your child is
dressed in layers, with a warm coat, hat, gloves, and appropriate footwear. Remind them
to wash their hands frequently to avoid the spread of germs.
3. Snow Safety: If snow or ice is in the forecast, please remind your child to be cautious
while playing outside and on the way to school to avoid falls and injuries.
4. Health Forms: If your child has any chronic conditions or requires medication at school,
please ensure all required forms are submitted to the nurse’s office.
Stay safe and healthy this winter season!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Heather Cline

Dear CLR Families,
Today, following state law, Reutter School conducted a security drill in the manner that we perform all emergency drills, with seriousness and sensitivity to our students and staff. Everyone responded appropriately and instruction resumed immediately thereafter.
