Thank you to all the families who came to see 5ALM's writing work last week. This was our last 5th- grade morning share and it was a great turn out.

Our 7th grade class loved their field trip to Kimball's Farm in Westford, MA. There were bumper boats, bumper cars, a driving range, mini-golf, a delicious cookout and homemade ice cream! It was a beautiful day to see our students and staff enjoy the outdoors and each other.

Thank you to Brewster Ambulance and Kindergarten parent, Alexandra Jacobson, for visiting with an ambulance. Students were able to get up close to the ambulance, learn about its role in public safety and ask great questions.

Brookline's METCO program held its End of the Year Celebration at BHS on Friday, May 24th. Incoming 9th graders and graduating Seniors in the METCO program were welcomed and celebrated. Runkle's 6-7 Science teacher, Djems Domerson, was honored as a recipient of the Dr. Jean McGuire Award for Excellence. This award recognizes the contributions of Brookline Staff to the success of our METCO students. Congratulations Mr. Domerson!

Congratulations to 5th Grade Teacher, Colleen Kavanagh, and her husband Ronny! Javier Kavanagh-Contreras made his early arrival into the world at 1:50pm on Wednesday, May 15th at 19in long and 6lb 7.4oz. We are so happy for Colleen and Ronny!
