Boundary Exempt applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now available through your ParentVue account. If you currently have a student on a boundary exemption, you are required to fill out a new application every year. All boundary exemptions need to be completed through ParentVue by Wednesday, April 30. You must submit the Boundary Exempt request and receive approval from the school PRIOR to filling out an online school registration.

Please make sure to have your students well rested, fed, and to school on time on testing days. If possible, it is important to avoid early pickup on these days as well.

April 22-23 - 2nd and 3rd Grade doing computerized portion of AIMS

April 24-25 - AIMSWeb Testing - Kindergarten through 3rd grade

4th and 5th grade progress monitoring

May 6-9 - iReady Diagnostic Kindergarten through 5th grade

On Tuesday, April 29, Mrs. Westcott will be having a Minute to Win It competition for the students that completed Finn's Mission during the Kid's Heart Challenge.

The students that are participating will be given an invitation to take home. Parents are welcome to come and watch.

If your student is participating and you cannot attend, it will be live streamed on the Snowshoe PE/Library/Music Facebook page. *Care will be taken to not video students that we do not have permission to publish their image.

On Tuesday, May 20, we will hold our Awards Ceremonies. If your student is receiving an award, their teacher will be sending home an invitation in May.

Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade: 9:30am-10:30am

3rd and 4th grade: 10:45am-11:30am

5th Grade Farewell and Awards: 1:30pm-3:00pm

Do you have a graduating senior that was previously a Snowshoe Elementary student? We are having a Grad Walk on Monday, May 12 at 1:00pm and would love for your senior to join us.

Have your senior wear their cap and gown. We will walk them through the halls as our current students cheer them on as they walk through. They can take a moment to look at their time capsule of pictures on the wall, and we will take a group photo at the Snowshoe sign on the building.

Our lost and found has gotten pretty full. If your student is missing any boots, coats, hats, jackets, gloves, etc., have them come and look through the lost and found. Parents are also encouraged to take a look!

All unclaimed items will be donated on May 23.

We are having a Kindergarten Information Night on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. This is for the incoming kindergarten students for FY25-26.

Come and meet the teachers, get a little information about next year, and see the school. We will also have a little "Get Started" kit for your student.
