Congratulations Student Council Officers!
We are pleased to announce the results of this year’s Student Council elections! These were incredibly close races and we are very proud of every candidate who ran for office. Each candidate is a shining example of our "Saints Spirit" - with such a strong desire to work on behalf of our entire school community. Please join us congratulating each of our newly elected Officers:
President: Dominic Roberts
Vice President: Isabella Massi
Secretary: Jasmine Laughlin
Treasurer: Elodie VanMeetran
Commissioner of Religious Affairs: Alexis Bosen
Commissioner of Athletics: Maddie Luther
Commissioner of Activities: Aaralyn Adams
Commissioner of Assemblies was a tie: Carter Campbell & Carolyn O'Brien
Many thanks to each of our Moderators: Mrs. Bullen, Mrs. Brede, and Mrs. Bozarth. We look forward to a great school year filled with lots of school-wide activities, collaboration, and tremendous school spirit!
Terra Nova Test Week
Terra Nova testing is right around the corner! During the week of September 16th our assessments will be administered to all students in Grades 2 through 8. Taking tests can be hard work – requiring lots of energy. We recommend that students get plenty of rest and eat a nourishing breakfast and lunch on test days. Please be sure to have your children arrive at school on time. In addition, we would ask you to schedule routine doctor/dentist appointments away from testing week. Homework assignments will be minimal during test week. Most importantly, don`t forget to ask your child(ren) about the testing each day. Thank you!

Life Skill of the Week
Our Life Skill for this week will focus on "Cooperation: Work together toward a common goal." Working together with other people may often present challenges. It may call for us to compromise, listen to other ideas, and put aside our own plans in order to achieve a common goal. We must be effective communicators if we are to be successful at cooperating. The Schoolwide Learning Expectation (SLE) "being an effective communicator" calls on us to speak well and listen to others. Both of those components are essential for productive cooperation. Being able to share your thoughts and ideas with others in a constructive manner will help you in cooperating with others. Knowing what to say, how to say it, and when to say it goes a long way toward building bridges of understanding and achieving goals.
