Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you once again for your continued support this week.
As we near the end of what has been a fantastic year, we have a number of celebrations and events taking place.
This week, I was particularly proud of the way our Talent Show finalists performed so confidently in front of the entire school! We have some very talented pupils at Carleton Park, and I am excited to see which two acts will go through to perform at Carleton High School in the final week of term.
Our Reception and Year 6 pupils also enjoyed a day visit to Bridlington this week. We were lucky with the weather, and all the children and adults had a great time, even managing to squeeze in an ice cream!
I would like to say a huge thank you to Bryn and our parent council for their support in helping us organise, what has been a truly special summer fayre. The support from our parent community, as always, has been superb. I hope you all enjoyed it!
And finally I would like to highlight the below video showing the new build/redevelopment programme at Carleton High School - https://www.pontefractacademiestrust.org.uk/carleton-high-school-redevelopment-project/ Once finished, this will be a tremendous asset to the staff and the children who attend there.
Next week will feature a number of other celebrations and events, so please keep an eye out for the key dates at the bottom of this newsletter!
