Principal Message.....

Dear RCE Parents:

As we head into the week before Thanksgiving break, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support and partnership. Your encouragement and involvement make such a difference in our school community, and we are truly thankful for the positive impact you have on your children’s learning journey. Please know that you are always welcome at school—whether it’s attending events, volunteering, or just stopping by to say hello, your presence enriches our shared experience. Let’s make this coming week a wonderful one, filled with learning, connection, and joy as we prepare for the holiday ahead!

PTCO HOLIDAY EVENT

Please help the Running Creek Elementary PTCO make the Pajama and Pancake Party our best winter fundraising event yet! Sign up for a time slot to volunteer and you can get 10 FREE TICKETS for your family! Don't have time or the ability to volunteer but still want to help? We need donations of cakes and other baked goods for the cake walk! This fundraiser helps the PTCO pay for training for teachers, seating, headphones, and other things that help make our school a better place to learn! Help us support our teachers and our students!! Coats for Colorado.....

Did you know you could help someone in need stay warm this holiday season? There's an easy way to contribute! The EHS Student Council has launched its Coats for Colorado Donation Drive.

Donate a new or slightly used coat to any of the drop boxes that are currently set up at Elizabeth High School, Elizabeth Middle School, Running Creek Elementary School and Legacy Academy.

The drive ends on November 20th, so if you are interested, be sure to drop off your coat soon!

COMING SOON! The Elizabeth Education Foundation has arranged for a Panera Bread restaurant fundraiser on November 19. Hope many of you can come on out! Put this date on your calendar!

Snacks and Water Bottles

Please remember to have your child bring a water bottle to school, they can refill them at the water stations throughout the school.

Thank you to everyone that was able to donate snacks that will be shared among the students. If you are interested in donating any snack items such as individually packaged snacks, granola bars, fruit snacks, or any other non-perishable school friendly snacks, please send and/or bring snacks to the main office. We appreciate your support!

School Fees

The 2024/25 school fees are $100 total ($25 tech fee and $75 consumables fee) for K-5. Thank you to everyone who already took care of these payments. For exemptions of the school fees be sure to apply for free/reduced lunch on PaySchoolsCentral and email or show our office staff your approval letter. You can also utilize this online system to pay the fees or if you prefer to pay by check or cash, please drop your payment off in the office. School district employees receive a 25% discount off their fees.

Great Times at RCE

Safety Drills at RCE.....

RCE has adopted The “I Love U Guys” Foundation’s Standard Response Protocol (SRP). Students and staff will be training, practicing, and drilling the protocol. We will be practicing one evacuation (fire) drill each month, one lockdown drill each semester, and one secure drill and one shelter (tornado) drill.
