Senior pictures and baby ads are both due to the yearbook on November 1st! See our website for senior picture guidelines, instructions on how to submit, and submission verification. https://ehs.district196.org/activities/publications
The yearbook staff would like to identify students by their preferred name. Next to everyone’s school or senior photo, the student’s name as it appears in Campus will be printed. However, in every other place in the yearbook, a preferred name can be used. If students have a nick name in Campus, the yearbook staff will use that name. If students have a preferred name that is not in Campus, please use the Google Form to let the yearbook staff know what name we should use. If you would prefer the yearbook not use the nick name in Campus, please also fill out this form.

Socktoberfest - Sock Drive!
Donate NEW Socks!
We all know the warmth and comfort a new pair of socks can bring, especially as the colder months approach. The sock drive officially kicked off on October 14th!
If you have NEW socks to donate, please have your student deliver them to room 187. Your donations will make a significant difference to those who need them most, and every pair counts. Let's come together as a community to provide warmth and comfort to those who need it. Thank you for your generosity and support!
Please Apply for Educational Benefits
Families are encouraged to complete an Educational Benefits Application. Your children
may qualify! Applications are now open.
While meals are free for all students, all families are highly encouraged to complete an
Application for Educational Benefits. Your approved application provides critical funding
to our school district. This compensatory aid helps increase funding for teachers,
paraprofessionals and social workers to include math and reading support. An approval
for educational benefits also allows families to receive discounted Activities/Community
Education fees. Learn more about the Educational Benefits Program.

Freshmen Retreat - Deadline to Register is TODAY - Friday, October 25th!!
All Day at Dakota Hills Middle School (lunch will be provided)
Thursday, November 7, 2024
The Youth Frontiers Respect Retreat® inspires students to respect themselves more, to respect others and to stand up for respect in your school. The retreat reminds students that they matter, and that there is a supportive community of educators, mentors and classmates around them. We challenge students with the message that someone acting with character does not make fun of, bully or torment anyone for any reason. We engage the bystanders to stand up for the value of respect in your hallways, lunch lines and classrooms. Participation in the retreat results in cognitive, attitudinal and behavioral shifts that decrease students’ distractions to learning and build a positive school community.
This is a high energy day filled with games, music, talks and small group discussions.
The cost is $25

National Letter of Intent - Athletes
A National Letter of Intent is a binding commitment by an athlete to play collegiate athletics for a particular college or university in exchange for a scholarship. (This means your senior is signing a commitment to a Division I or Division II school to play a sport and receiving athletic financial aid for playing the sport. This would also mean the college or university has been in contact with you and your senior about the signing the paperwork. )
This is not the signing date for D-III or JUCO or NAIA Schools
November 13, 2024 is the first of three signing time periods for prospective senior student-athletes, who have played at Eagan, to sign their National Letters of Intent.
We will celebrate our D-1 and D-11 athletes at this signing.
If you have a senior (12th Grade) student who will be signing to play college athletics during this time period please contact Eagan’s Athletic Director, Jason Elias.
Email – Jason.elias@district196.org or his assistant, Sherri.anderson@district196.org the following.
