Age Requirements:

Transitional Kindergarten: The child must turn 5 between September 2, 2024 - June 2, 2025.
Kindergarten: The child must turn 5 by September 1, 2024.
First Grade: The child must turn 6 by September 1, 2024.

Transfers:

If your child is interested in attending Monte Vista, but it is not your home school, you can apply for an intradistrict transfer. The priority window for intradistrict transfers is now through March 15th, 2024. Please contact VUSD Student Support Services at (760) 726-2170 or fill out the transfer application page . YOU MUST SUBMIT ENROLLMENT TO YOUR HOME SCHOOL BEFORE YOUR TRANSFER APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED
