It has been a fast first five weeks of school. Time flies when you are having fun! Thank you to everyone that attended our SBDM board meeting and PTA public meeting on Tuesday evening. Your contribution is invaluable and we look forward to another great year of parent involvement on campus. We are committed to continually nurturing our Dealey dragons and each other. It is one thing to have a fire inside of you , but only wisdom will dictate how and when you use it. That is the true mark of having good character and lasting success. We are using every opportunity to encourage and build academic success in all of our students. Your child's teacher will soon begin sending home the I-Ready BOY assessment reports. You will also receive information about your student's individual academic goals for this school year.

Additionally, we remain committed to our campus safety & security. As a community, let us please welcome our new officer, Officer Davis. He will be assigned to the middle school counselor's office.We are all committed to making him feel welcome on campus. Thank you for your service Officer Davis!

GIRLS CIRCLE IS NOW OPEN TO 6th GRADE GIRLS!

Register today for the 4th - 6th grade Girls Circle! The circle is limited to 16 girls. Early Bird pricing extended through 9/18!

Circles meet on the following Fridays from 3:50 - 5:20 PM.

Fridays 9/20, 10/4, 10/25, 11/15, 12/13

We will eat pizza, dance, play music, and do arts & crafts. The girls won’t even realize that they’re learning some of the most important skills of their lives!

• self-confidence and self-respect
• that menstruation is to be embraced and not shamed
• how to support & uplift one another

Girls on the Run was developed to inspire girls to value what makes them unique! Our program facilitates ways for girls to gain confidence, build social skills, and realize their incredible potential. No running experience required.

Registration period is open through September 9th on a first come, first serve basis. Program is capped at 12 girls.
