Happy Saturday Eagles!

Next week is the last week of the 2019-2020 school year! Woo Hoo! Thank you to our students and parents for a fantastic year! We have a lot going on next week as we wrap up the school year. Be sure to read all sections of this newsletter and check Class DoJo daily for important announcements. Please do not hesitate to send an email message or DoJo message to your child's teacher, Dr. Patterson, or Mrs. Gualtieri if you need assistance. Additionally, we are available via phone in the office Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm. Please call us at 910-347-1261.

Packet Pick-Up

We had our final packet pick-up on Tuesday, May 26. This packet pick-up was for grades K-5 since 3-5 laptops should have been turned in on May 28 or 29. If you did not pick up a work packet for your child on Tuesday, please call the office at 910-347-1261 and make arrangements to get one at the beginning of the week.

Laptop and Charger Drop-Off for Grades 3-5

All 3-5 laptops and chargers were due to be turned in at the laptop drop-off Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29, 12:00pm - 7:00pm. We only received about 50% of the laptops we have checked out to students. Mr. Smith, our Media Coordinator, will be set up in the lobby of Clyde Erwin during regular office hours on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2 to receive laptops and chargers. Our office hours are 8:00am - 3:00pm. Please return all laptops at the beginning of the week, as this is the last week of school. Students will be held responsible for the cost of any laptops not returned to Onslow County Schools.

Library Books

If you have library books from our Clyde Erwin media center, please get these returned by Wednesday, June 3. It is important that we get all library books checked in prior to the last day of school.

Report Card Pick-Up

Report cards will be available for pick-up on Thursday, June 4 in the front lobby of the school. Please walk down the breezeway to the side entrance by the playground and ring the doorbell for entry. Tables will be set up by grade level. Money owed for school property (i.e. library books, laptops) will need to be collected and receipted prior to the release of the report card.

Fifth Grade Parade

Attention Fifth-Grade Parents: We are having a special fifth grade parade in our back parking lot on June 4, 1:00-2:00pm. Remain in your cars and circle the parking lot for us to recognize and congratulate our fifth graders. Fifth grade report cards, diplomas, and student gifts will be available for pick-up during this time.

Meal Benefit Applications Now Open

The OCS School Nutrition office is currently accepting meal benefit applications.

We review our behavior expectations with students regularly so they can show school pride at CEES and earn Class DoJo points. Students must earn 100 Class DoJo points during the month to participate in the schoolwide PBIS celebrations. Please review our CEES acronym with students at home to help support our program:
