How Are We Doing with School Communications?
Homewood 153, Flossmoor 161 and Homewood-Flossmoor High School 233 are joining forces to conduct a community-wide survey to gather input about the districts' communications efforts. With this collaboration, we hope to streamline the collection of important information for all three school districts with just one survey.
All staff, parents/guardians, and community members are invited to take a 15- minute confidential online survey from March 8-25. This survey, conducted by a respected independent team of researchers from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), will help us improve communication practices at all three school districts. By participating in the survey, you play an active role in shaping how each of the school districts communicate with you.
All responses will be anonymous, so please be open and honest with your feedback on school district communications. We appreciate your support and eagerly await your input.

Churchill School Ends Black History Month with Museum Night
Churchill School had fun celebrating Black History on Feb. 29th! Attendees of the school's Black History Museum were treated to musical performances, poetry readings, and many, many creative displays of student research into African American trailblazers. Many thanks to all the students, loved ones, vendors and artists who helped make the Black History Museum a success!
Congratulations, James Hart Volleyball!

Operation Snowflake/Snowflurry Gather Area Youth for Fun and Learning
Here are a few photos from the fun-filled Operation Snowflake (for 7th-8th graders) and Operation Snowflurry (for 5th-6th graders) held at HF High School on March 2nd. The programs brought together students from across the community to help them make positive choices and feel good about themselves. We are grateful to the school staff members and high school student volunteers who made the day so informative, uplifting, and fun for our community’s kids! Thank you to all 153 parents and guardians who completed the annual Illinois 5 Essentials Parent Survey! In order for the state to send us data from the survey, we needed at least 20% of parents at each school to participate, and we met that threshold! There's still time to make your voice heard. Survey closes March 29th.
