Hello Readers!
Greetings from sunny Camp Brosius, in Elkhart Lake, WI! I worked here in college and it's been so much fun to attend 25 years later with my daughter as campers! Summer time memories are the best. Here's to hoping you made some with us this summer at DCTPL and are ready to make more at the pool party on Saturday! Word on the street is that Dani the Dinosaur might just be there to congratulate all the participants of our summer learning program too!

Early Chapter (EC Mar)
Azmina, Willa, and Naomi are thrilled to learn they're Glitter Dragon Girls. Summoned to the Magic Forest by its magnificent ruler, the Tree Queen, the girls quickly find out their dragon-selves have unbelievable abilities. They can soar above the treetops, breathe glitter-y bursts of fire, and roar loud enough to shake the ground.

Life as we know it evolved with fire; there is no us without it.With lyrical text grounded in the latest research, this picture book shares the primal connection between all living things and fire. Children will grasp that fire is basic and powerful; that it has the capability to both destroy and create; that everything they know in the world has evolved with fire.
Friends of the Library
All of our events are made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Library. The Friends of the Library was founded to support the Danville Public Library in various ways. They sponsor all library programs as well as help buy the supplies/equipment needed for programs through membership dues and fundraising activities. We are always looking for more members!
