Zion Tuition Rates for 2025-2026 School Year
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are deeply grateful for the privilege of partnering with you in the education and spiritual development of your children. Your commitment to our mission at Zion Lutheran Church and School enables us to continue providing a Christ-centered, academically rigorous education for our students.
As we plan for the 2025/2026 school year, we remain committed to offering an excellent education while stewarding our resources wisely.
Please check your email for Tuition and Fee rates for the 2025-2026 school year. We are already touring for next year. We anticipate full enrollment with a capacity of 250 students. We practice continuous enrollment. Re-enrollment will begin in January. Instructions for withdrawals and for new applications will also be shared in January. New applications begin on the 1st of February.
This tuition increase reflects our commitment to:
- Maintaining small class sizes and a dedicated, highly qualified faculty.
- Continuing to enhance curriculum and extracurricular programs.
- Investing in facilities, technology, and resources that support a robust learning environment.
We understand that any tuition increase is significant, and we remain committed to supporting families through the Pamela J. Hight Scholarship Fund.
Thank you for entrusting us with the education of your children. We are blessed by your partnership and look forward to continuing this journey of faith and learning together. Should you have any questions, please contact me.
In Christ’s service to His children,
Suzan Winkelman

Re-Enrollment in January
Zion Lutheran School practices automatic re-enrollment. Families are given the option to opt out of enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year during the month of January. Detailed instructions will be sent to families in early January with a document to sign and return by January 31.

The 7-8th grade boys' team is currently undefeated in district play. Come support three of our teams next Tuesday when they host St Mary's Taylor at the following times:
5:00 5-6th grade girls
6:00 5-6th grade boys' A-team
7:00 7-8th grade boys
(Unfortunately, St Mary's doesn't have a 5-6th grade boys' B-team or a 7-8th grade girls' team.)

Student Injury or Illness Policy Reminder
Please review our student illness policy. This information can be found on page 36 of the handbook. Contact the school office if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you!
Student Injury or Illness
In the event a student is injured during the school day, parents/guardians will be notified as soon as
possible. If a student has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or more, or displays symptoms of illness,
parents/guardians will be called. Students must be free from fever and symptoms for at least 24 hours
before returning to school.
When a student’s absence for personal illness exceeds four consecutive days, a statement from a
physician or health clinic verifying the illness or condition should be provided to the student’s homeroom
teacher.
If the student has established a pattern of absences, Zion may also require a physician’s or clinic’s
statement of illness or condition after a single day’s absence as a condition of classifying the absence as
one for which there are extenuating circumstances.
