And what a different season this is! We are amidst unprecedented times for most of us. As we are all figuring out what life looks like in our homes and schools, know that we are here to support everyone. Keeping everyone healthy and safe takes a team effort.

We are excited to be providing instruction, engagement, and interactive opportunities for every student. It is recommended that all children partake in the meetings and complete work assigned. THANK YOU PARENTS for the support at home with the distance learning. We realize that this adds more to your plate and looks different in every household as all of our 'stories' vary. Some people are working from home, sharing computers throughout the day, caring for younger children, caring for other family members near or far, or maybe even sick. Given all of this, teachers are flexible about the how and when instruction occurs in your homes. Please let us know how we can assist you in this endeavor to keep our students learning during this time.

There is much research about society's use of technology, specifically, the positive and negative impact on us at a variety ages. During this time, it is important to be cognizant of screen time. As school is currently being rolled out online, be sure to have multiple physical activity breaks away from the screen. Remember, students can exercise each day inside with Sami Kader workouts at 1:00p each weekday. Also, here are a couple of sites I frequenstly visit for tips on tech use for our students; Common Sense Media and SmartSocial. Let's all be aware to be safe!

Fortunately, PTC met our financial goal early this year due to the joint efforts on everyone's part. This sets us up for great success in 20-21 school year and all that PTC plans to provide. Remember that this includes, but not limited to, funding the science aides in our one-of-a-kind lab, tech devices (ipads & chromebooks) for all students, assemblies, AR, Lexia, and much more! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED THE EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF OUR STUDENTS! Together we are providing outstanding opportunities!
