Use the links below to get started on your summer reading! You can choose Sora Sweet Reads, Capstone, C.F. Goodwin, the Rockwall Public Library or all of them! The choice is yours!

Complete a summer reading activity of your choosing here (Summer Reading Bingo, Summer Reading log, Book Shelfie, Genre Challenge or Summer Reading Book Report) to keep track of your adventures. Turn the completed activity of your choosing into your school librarian by August 16, 2024 for a trip to the BOOK VENDING MACHINE! Print the activity of your choice here.

Summer reading not only helps to prevent the SUMMER SLIDE but also develops habits that create life-time readers. Click here for more information on the summer slide & how families can encourage summer reading.

Our friends at Capstone have created an engaging, 12-week long, summer learning and reading adventure. RCISD families will have access to 120 free eBooks as well as bi-weekly choice boards

C.F. Goodwin Public Library in Royse City as well as the Rockwall Public Library have also planned a wonderful summer of reading & activities for our community.

Join us this summer with OverDrive’s annual reading program. Sora Sweet Reads is designed to encourage students to keep reading all year long. Overdrive/Sora is offering a collection of free, simultaneous-use ebooks (and select audiobooks) that spans grades K-12. These titles will be available to participating schools and prominently displayed in Sora so it’s easy for students to find their next sweet read.
