Our Amazing Community Sponsors Make It Happen!
Our community sponsors make our Employee of the Month award a special one! Thank you to DJ's Dugout for making sure our winners feel the love. Each winner receives a gift certificate so they can enjoy an evening out. This is the second year DJ's has stepped up to support our Employees of the Month.
The Millard Public Schools Foundation supports the district in so many ways. Each year it underwrites the Employee of the Month program with a check to each winner. Know a teacher or staff member you think deserves recognition? Nominate them today! Millard Employee of the Month Nominations

An Advanced Placement Culture
Millard believes excellence is worth the investment and strives for an Advanced Placement culture to encourage students to stretch themselves academically. The Board received the annual Advanced Placement Report at last night's meeting. The district currently offers 27 AP courses. The percentage of students scoring a grade on the AP exam strong enough to qualify for college credit rose to 73 percent, up from 63 percent last year. In Millard, 421 students were named AP scholars. This is approximately 25% of the AP scholars in Nebraska. These are the students who take three or more AP courses and earn a score of three or better.
Dual Enrollment Saves Millard Families Nearly Two Million
Throughout this year we are sharing all the ways Millard is rooted in academics. The commitment of our teachers and staff shows in our data. Over the past five years, Millard students scored higher on the national ACT test than both the state and national average. Millard's dip in learning during the height of the pandemic was less than half that of the national data, and gains in learning have been recorded since then on state a national tests. Here are some of the people who make that success possible.
