PRINCIPAL LINSKI NOTES - Week of December 9, 2024
Dear ISAAC Families,
It’s hard to believe how quickly December is flying by—Quarter 2 will officially wrap up on December 20th! Let’s finish Quarter 2 strong!
This is a great time to check PowerSchool and remind students to submit any outstanding work before the deadline. Let’s work together to help them finish the quarter on a high note as we approach the well-deserved winter break.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication. Let’s make these final weeks of 2024 count!
Warm regards,
Principal Linski
Fencing Returns to ISAAC Middle School: A New Season of Excellence
New London, CT –ISAAC Middle School is thrilled to announce the return of fencing for the 2024-2025 school year! This exciting and unique program continues to provide our students with the opportunity to learn and compete in this dynamic sport.
This year, fencing will be offered as a club, meeting twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting with tryouts on Tuesday, December 10th. Due to the new structure, spots are limited, so participants will benefit from a more focused and personalized experience. Student-athletes will dive into the techniques and strategies of both Foil and Épée fencing, building skills, discipline, and sportsmanship along the way.
In addition to honing their skills during practices, students will participate in several matches with the Rectory School. These will include both home and away competitions, offering students the chance to showcase their talents and represent ISAAC with pride.
We are looking forward to an exciting fencing season, filled with learning, competition, and camaraderie. At ISAAC, we are proud to provide opportunities like fencing that enrich our students' experiences and challenge them to grow. Stay tuned for updates as the season unfolds!
