Our District secured 1200 doses of the Pfizer vaccine (given in two doses) through Mercy Pharmacy for our students (must be 16 years or older) and their parents. We are are pleased to invite you to click on the links below to get your vaccine appointment!

The second doses will be given on May 11 and 12. A NEW INVITATION LINK WILL BE EMAILED A DAY OR TWO PRIOR TO THE SECOND DOSE.

Important Details:

• Vaccinations will be done in our Theatre (see attached map).
• Every student must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to receive the vaccine. Up to two adults from the household (no more than 2), may also get the vaccine.
• Each person being vaccinated must bring a copy of their Insurance Card and Driver’s License or Birth Certificate (this will be kept by Mercy) to the appointment.
• Students will NOT be allowed to use their student ID as a valid form of identification for the clinic.

When appointments are made by family members they might not get appointments at the exact same time – that is ok, they can come together and we will take them as they come.

To WVUSD Parents and Guardians,

Reminder, on AERIES Parent Portal, please indicate whether your child will attend school in-person or join virtual learning for the 2021/2022 school year by Monday, April 19, 2021.

A response is required for your child to be successfully counted towards enrollment for the 2021/2022 school year (the first day of school is August 9, 2021).

Attending traditional school for in-person instruction every day (5 days per week subject to change based on capacity limitations due to adequate spacing of students), OR join Virtual Learning for 2021/2022 School Year.

The Pathways Communications Academy is one of 500 California State Partnership Academies and is celebrating its 24th year. The Academy is a small learning community offering college approved courses and unique educational opportunities.

During the weekend of April 9-10, 18 DBHS students (click HERE to see our students) competed virtually in California's Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) State Leadership Conference. More than 4,000 members, advisors, and industry partners from across the state joined the event, which included seminars covering healthcare topics and leadership. For the first time in our chapter history, all DBHS competitors qualified for the State Leadership Conference after competing in the Regional Competitive Events in March.

Special thanks to our HOSA Advisor, Mr. Chase Paulson! Your leadership, professionalism and support to our students is amazing!

This Friday, April 16, 2021 @ 7:00 PM, our Brahma Football team defeated Walnut (24 - 21) in our annual cross-town rivalry game, the Branding Iron. Special thanks to Head Coach Jeff Reitz and coaching staff for preparing our team and leading us to victory!

In addition, in our first year in the Hacienda League, our Brahma Football team was undefeated 3 - 0 vs Ontario, Nogales and Walnut High Schools. Congratulations to the 2021 Hacienda League Champions!

NCAA Eligibility Center

Attention Senior Student-Athletes:

If you plan on participating in college-level athletics at the NCAA Division I or II levels and are in contact with college coaches, you must be certified as an eligible athlete by the NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER.

Mr. Patterson, our NCAA GLC, will be notified by the Eligibility Center once you have registered. At that time, your transcript will be sent to the Eligibility Center by Mr. Patterson. Only students in the Class of 2021 should register at this time.
