The Venture Lab is IE Business School´s startup accelerator where students and alumni are given the oportunity to launch their own ventures with the support of our expert mentor network, a series of startup workshops, and incubation at Area 31 our startup incubator.

IE was founded by entrepreneurs, and the entrepreneurial spirit forms an integral part of IE’s day-to-day fabric – from the teaching methods we use in our classrooms and the manner in which we develop new programs for the next generation of students, to how we engage with the external community of investors, government agencies and startups.

Venture Lab is IE’s startup accelerator, housed in Area 31. It is a hands-on program that guides aspiring entrepreneurs to bring an idea for a startup to fruition. Venture Lab is open to all IE students and alumni. All teams receive workshops and mentorship, as well as coaching and feedback from Venture Lab’s Entrepreneurs and Investors in Residence, to guide them in validating their ideas and developing investor-ready startups. Teams are eligible to participate in Venture Day Madrid at the end of the program, where they pitch before investors.
