October 17th 2024 Principal's Message
Hello Blevins Families,
Thanks for your engagement with parent-teacher conferences this week! I'm always motivated by the partnership our families and staff have to make the best learning environment for our students. If you were not able to make it to conferences, please feel to reach out to teachers and staff with questions.
I'd like to invite you to our first School Accountability Meeting (SAC) on Tuesday 10/22 from 5:30-7pm. In our SAC meeting, we will discuss Blevins' annual School Unified Improvement Plan, which means the school-wide strategies we are implementing to keep progressing and the goals we have set along the way. This is a great opportunity to have your voice in that process and to ask questions to learn more. Hope to see you there!
I hope you enjoy the long weekend.
Proudly,
Joe Zappa, Principal

Blevins School Accountability Committee (SAC) Invitation
Join us for our 1st Quarter SAC Meeting
This will be on Tuesday, October 22nd from 5:30-7pm in our Collaboration Cafe.
What is SAC? SD School Accountability Committees help plan and evaluate instructional programs and quality improvement processes at schools.
School Accountability Committees (SAC), which are made up of parents and community members, offer guidance on academic action plans, budget priorities, safety issues and other areas.
While SACs present recommendations to school leaders and administrators, school administrators make the decisions and are ultimately responsible and accountable for those decisions.
