Dr. Brosky Visits Mohawk
Dr. Don Brosky, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, visited Mohawk on Tues., May 28th to recognize some of our 3rd grade students.
Logan Ruszala and his team of 3rd grade students developed the idea to build a car in October. They planned out all the parts, designed the interior and exterior pieces, built it together, painted and covered it with paper. It took them months to complete this project. During that time, they learned to set goals and designate tasks to team members. They also worked well together giving and receiving input to build the car, which took a lot of time and perseverance. Dr. Brosky was here to recognize their team efforts, and give them art awards for going way beyond the expectations of art class requirements.
The team of students consists of Logan Ruszala, Carson Cross, David Gjonaj, Charlotte Houghton, Tyler Langan, Braxton Ogden, Grayson Milam and Jacob Michaels.
This was a project that could not be recognized in the art show because it surpassed the size requirements for both the Anton Art Show and our district art show.
