February 2025
From the Principal
Greetings Viking Families,
The Spring 2025 semester is off to a great start! We are celebrating 2nd Quarter student achievement with Freshmen on Fire and other celebrations while encouraging students to start and finish strong this quarter. We remain focused on School Safety encouraging students to Be a Viking: Be Responsible, Be Respectful and Be Accountable. Below are some important reminders to discuss with your student(s):
- Attendance is important and we look for students to be on time and present each day at school and to each of their assigned classes. Students who are found outside of their assigned area present potential safety concerns.
- For safety purposes, please do not bring contraband items to school (over the counter medications, vapes, weapons, etc.).
- Students are not allowed to leave campus before 3:05pm without permission.
- Food deliveries to school are not permitted.
Students found violating these expectations will be held accountable. Please refer to the Standard Response Protocol (pictured below) for a review of safety measures in place.
Students are in the midst of registering class for next year. School counselors are working closely with teachers and students to discuss the process. Talk with your students to learn more about their classes for next year.
Spring Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, March 6th in the Multipurpose Center from 12-7pm.
Thank you all for your continued support and involvement in the Viking Community. If you have any questions, please call us 531-299-2700.

It is crucial that students come to school with charged iPads every day. Students will not be allowed to use their phones for class work.
