Parent Teacher Conferences Oct. 17 & 21
Be watching your emails on Friday for the link to sign-up for Conferences.
Conferences will be 15 minutes in duration on
Thursday, Oct 17 from 3:00-7:00 PM
Monday, Oct. 21 from 3:00-7:00 PM
IF you have multiple students, PLEASE allow 15 minutes in between sessions and kindly do not book them back to back. Allowing 15 minutes in between sessions gives you time to transition to the next room. This helps everyone stay on schedule and allows each conference the full 15 minutes.
Book Fair during Parent Teacher's Conference Week
Attention students, parents, and book lovers! The Scholastic Book Fair is just around the corner, and this year's theme is "Find Your Story!" Whether you're an adventurer, a mystery solver, a dreamer, or a world explorer, there's a book waiting just for YOU. From October 17th to October 22nd, our school will transform into a haven for book lovers of all ages.
Book Fair Schedule:
- October 17: 2:45 PM - 6:30 PM
- October 18: 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM
- October 21: 2:45 PM - 6:30 PM
- October 22: 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM
Don't miss out on the fun – come explore, get inspired, and FIND YOUR STORY at the Scholastic Book Fair!
Volunteer Opportunities: As our Book Fair coincides with parent-teacher conferences, we kindly ask for your support in ensuring its success. We need parent volunteers to help manage the fair during conference nights. Your assistance will ensure that every child has the opportunity to browse through an exciting array of books and find the perfect literary companion.

Headphone Reminder
This is just a friendly reminder that students need a set of working headphones. They are used for testing and other in-class instruction. We have a very limited supply of loaners. Please check with your student to see if theirs are in working order. Thank you!
Appropriate Clothing for Seasonal Temperature Changes
We are in that transitional season of temperatures. Please be mindful of the chart below and make certain your student/s have proper attire for outside recess and gym class. Be mindful that within the course of a day we can have a dramatic temperature change and while shorts and sandals might still work for afternoon, mornings are more chilly.
Cafeteria Guest Guidelines and Reservation Requirements!
Starting on Monday, October 7th parents are allowed to have lunch with their children.
Here are the Guidelines:
- Students may have 1 guest per semester.
- You must call Patty at 446-5006 before 7:30 a.m. on the day of - or earlier if possible, to see if space is available. Some classes have VERY Limited Space, so we may not be able to accommodate all requests on any given day.
- Reservations are required even if you are bringing your own food as we have to set up additional tables and some times we are very limited in space.
- Please remember to bring your ID as you will need to scan in once you arrive to the office.

What Should I Do If My Student Needs to Leave During the Day or Will Be Late?
If your student/s need to leave during a school day, please notify both the office (701) 446-5000 and the student's teacher (typically via the SeeSaw app). Schedules can be complicated and we have a lot of moving parts. Teachers do an awesome job, but sometimes they don't see messages while they are teaching. We work as a team to help you. Letting us both know allows us to serve you better.
If your student is running late or has an early morning appointment, please contact the office and let us know their lunch choice BEFORE 8:25 a.m. All meal orders are turned in to the central kitchen for preparation by 8:30 a.m. Thank you for understanding.

1. Opt-in for Text Messages: With the BrightArrow system, students, staff and parents/guardians must opt-in to receive text messages. To opt-in, simply text the word “YES” to 79041. You can opt-in at any time. If you do not opt-in, you will not receive any text messages sent out from the school or District.
2. Ensure Emails Reach You: Parents and Guardians, please add noreply@fargo.k12.nd.us to your email contacts or safe sender list to prevent our messages from being directed to your spam or junk folders. Mass emails from systems like BrightArrow can sometimes be filtered out by email providers, so this step is crucial for ensuring you receive timely updates.
