News from the Nurse
A message from our school nurse:
Hello parents,
I will be sending home another letter this week. This letter is the vaccine requirements for kindergarten. This is letter two out of three total that will be sent home before summer vacation.
These letters are just REMINDERS of what your students will need in order to enter kindergarten for next school year medically. You do not need to send in this school years updated physicals/vaccine letters if that has already been done.
I will be sending the third reminder letter at the end of the school year prior to summer break. These reminders are just to alert you of what will be required for the students entering kindergarten next school year. Doctors' appointments can be challenging to make, that is why we like to give several reminders as we approach the end of the school year.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Thank you,
Sara Mainville RN, BSN

April 30th- Conferences!
Spring Conferences will be held on April 3oth this year. Your student's teacher will reach out to schedule soon!
Remember.. Kindergarten Registration is REQUIRED!
If your child is going to kindergarten in the 25-26 school year, they must be registered with Lowell Public Schools, even if they were registered for preschool. There are a few dates left at some of the schools where you can stop in and register with family resource staff (see flyer below). You can also do it online www.lowell.k12.ma.us/registration or in person at the Family Resource Center (151 Merrimack Street)
Spotlight on ATTENDANCE
Did you know....
Showing up on time every day is important to your child's success and learning from preschool forward.
Missing 10% of school (1 or 2 days every few weeks) can make it harder to:
*Gain early reading and math skills.
*Build relationships.
* Develop good attendance habits.
High quality preschool and kindergarten has many benefits!
*The routines your child develops will continue throughout school.
*Make the most of early grades by encouraging your child to attend every day.
