School Site Council Nominations
We are seeking three parents to serve on School Site Council (SSC) for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an elected two year term position. One of the primary functions of SSC is to develop, monitor, and evaluate the school’s Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). If you are interested in being nominated or in nominating someone else for this position, please contact Stacey Coombe at scoombe@conejousd.org or 805-495-2810 by Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
Student Password Update
On April 30, 2024, all Aspen student passwords will be reset in Q. This measure is being implemented to better protect our students’ information. The new passwords will be provided to students by their classroom teacher.
To ensure the ongoing security of student accounts, all new Q passwords will be reset to include a five-letter word (in lower case), four random numbers and a special character not requiring the use of a shift key. We kindly ask for your support in communicating this important change to your children or students. Emphasize the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Together, we can ensure a safe and secure online environment for our students.
INTERESTED IN BEING A CAMPUS SAFETY ASSISTANT?
We are looking for any interested adults to work afternoon shifts to cover our lunch and afternoon recess shifts. Please contact Stacey Coombe, our Office Manager, if you are interested in this opportunity!
2024/2025 TK and K Parent Information Night
Please join us on Wednesday, May 1 at 5pm for a 2024/2025 TK and K Parent information night.
2023-2024 Opt-In Communication for Advisory Council/Committee Updates
In CVUSD, parent/guardian engagement and participation is a top priority! Participation is encouraged through many organizations and activities. Several CVUSD Advisory Councils/Committees that support parent/guardian participation are listed in the link below, with the OPTION for you to select any or all to receive communications from the school’s identified parent/guardian representative and/or from school site administration. This communication would provide information and updates to you related to the Advisory Council/Committee meetings. Please select the Council(s)/Committee(s) that you would like to receive information and updates on, approximately monthly. If you have students at multiple school sites, please submit the form for each school. Additionally, if you opted-in last year, please plan to do so annually. Importantly, should you choose to opt-in to receiving these updates, the parent/guardian representative for the Advisory Council(s)/Committees(s) and/or the administration will not share your email address with others. You also have the ability to opt-out at any time in the event you no longer wish to receive the Advisory Council/Committee information.
If you would like to learn more about these Advisory Councils/Committees, or other ways to get involved at CVUSD, please go to: https://www.conejousd.org/domain/1365

The following guidelines will assist us in keeping our students safe in the parking lot:
- Proceed in the Aspen parking lot at no more than 5 miles per hour.
- Walk with your child across the parking lot using the marked crosswalk.
- Do not allow your child to walk unattended between cars.
- Stay in the right hand lane, move all the way forward, and drop your student off from the right side of the vehicle.
- Never leave your vehicle unattended in the drive-thru lanes.
- Follow the California Vehicle Code laws.
- Remind your child to respect people’s property.
Consider the following:
- You may pull up to the curb at the front of the school to drop off your student.
- You may park on the street on Oberlin or Marlowe and walk your student on campus.
- Please do not block driveways.
- Be mindful of labeled No Parking zones near the crosswalks.
- The gates at the front of the school will be open for entry and exit. There will not be access through the gate on Marlowe.
