We have had some great weeks after our Thanksgiving break! Students are showing their leadership skills and are concentrating on NWEA math and reading skills to show their teachers what they know! We were fortunate to have a North Mankato police officer share how she cares about our community and the people she works with to connect with our life skill this week! Thank you to Nicole Adams!

Next week will be a fun week before our winter break. Our staff is ready to do "underground" dress up days Monday-Friday! This will be fun for our students to guess what the dress up day was for our staff! Friday will be a "comfy" day for all of our staff and students!

Just a reminder - Winter break will be from Dec. 23-Jan. 1. We will begin school on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Working Together, Mrs. Rittmiller

Mrs. Hatlestad is always excited to work with students and their families, getting to know them and finding what works best for each student. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with my family, reading, going for walks, and traveling.

Mrs. Modrow is most excited about all of the planning we are doing and the future of what Bridges 2.0 will be! Outside of school her favorite thing is spending time with her grandbabies and camping.

Mrs. Frayne is most excited about continuing to grow and make connections with the students, staff, and families at Bridges. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her son, daughter, and husband. She loves coffee, needlepoint, and running!

We have All School Meetings on Fridays during the school year starting in the gym at 8:30 am. Parents/guardians are invited to attend. We discuss our life skill, have spotted awards and many times there is an interactive game or speaker.

On December 10th, we hosted our Family informational session about what Bridges will look, sound, and feel like next school year as a Focus School with a global studies focus. It was wonderful to see everyone who attended and to address the curiosities and questions that were shared. We recognize that there are still many more questions you may have. We encourage you to visit the Focus School Webpage on our District Webpage. This will be able to provide more clarity and answers to the many questions still out there. A great resource is our Frequently Asked Questions Document were we will add more questions and answers, so check back often. We wanted to remind you, if you are planning to stay at Bridges next school year, there is no need to do anything. We will plan for you to continue at Bridges!
