We wanted to recap and share out with y'all, our most recent student art showing, as a part of this year's BCOE Superintendent's Juried High School Art Show. ​This exhibition took place on Chico State's campus, in the A Gallery of the new Arts & Humanities building.

In addition to showcasing their artwork; students crafted artist statements which provide additional context for viewer experience. Judges from within our community assessed student artwork off of the following criteria: (1) Demonstrated skill in the medium, (2) Evidence of innovation, and (3) Emphasis on exploration.

It's worth mentioning that Judger feedback for our students revolved around technical skill and capabilities 🙂 If you have any one of these three amazingly talented and insightful students, please be sure and congratulate them!

CHS Ballet Folklorico is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for our annual show. This year's theme is Noche de sueños (Night of Dreams). Tickets are available for purchase at laspalomas.ludus.com or come see me in A-128 any day after school if purchasing with cash/check.

This dreamy event will take place on Monday, April 29th at 6:00pm at the CFA (Theater at PVHS). Doors open at 5:30pm.
