Similar to elementary school PTOs, PACT (Parents and Community Together) works to build a strong, inclusive community at MGMS. Every MGMS parent and caregiver is a member.

Event Information and Volunteer Opportunities
Winter Fun Days: January 29th - 31st
We’re excited to bring some winter cheer to students with our 3-day Winter Fun Days event! Students will enjoy a few hours of entertainment each day of the event (6th grade January 29th, 7th grade January 30th, 8th grade January 31st). Activities include pool time, movies, board games, basketball, and more. We are thrilled to add that the option of ice fishing at Eagle Lake will be offered as an option for 6th graders. More details coming soon.
Volunteer: Help us make Winter Days a fun and safe experience! We are seeking volunteers to assist with activity supervision, transition and set up and take down. A volunteer link will be shared the first week back from break.
Talk to students about your career!
On Feb 27-28, 7th and 8th graders will learn about various career options during advisory. Parents, guardians and community members are welcome to sign up for one or both days, sharing about their careers as well as answering questions.

Advocacy
Learn about ISD 279’s 2024-2025 legislative priorities and contact your legislators to ask them to support the priorities you’re passionate about.
PACT Meetings
One of the best ways for parents and caregivers to know what’s going on at MGMS and positively affect the school is to attend a PACT meeting. PACT Meetings are held once a month (except March and December) from 7:00–8:00 pm. 2024 meeting dates are posted on the website. There is always an online attendance option; some meetings also occur in person.
