Principal's Message
Dear Students and Families,
We are exactly midway through the semester. Time is moving fast! To ensure successful completion of your courses, please review your course calendars carefully.
We've welcomed many new families to our school in recent weeks. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your assigned teacher (or to me!) if you have any questions or require additional support.
A couple things to look out for.
Panorama Survey: We will be sending out our first Panorama Survey shortly. Your participation in this survey is crucial as it helps us improve our school and better support students academically and socially-emotionally.
Career Fair: Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 7th, to connect with professionals and learn about exciting career paths at our live career fair! More information about the Career Fair (includling a sign-up form!) coming soon!
Care Solace
I have put some information about CARE SOLACE immediately below the article on Student of the Month! Care Solace is sort of like a clearing house of places to contact if families are seeking help with anything from needing shelter, health services, or drug and substance abuse counseling. Check out the website linked in that section if someone in your family needs these services. Our district has a relationship with Care Solace, and is confident in their ability to help our school community as the need arises!! We hope this connection is helpful!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
David Schlottman
Principal
Student of the Month: Emma Sutton
Emma Sutton was selected by our staff to be the SNHS Student of the Month! That honor was given to her on October 3rd in an event at Sizzler in Murietta. Emma was accompanied by her parents and by a mentor teacher: Mrs. Cerny. Well done Emma!!!
Emma is shown below (2nd from the right--seated) with her parents Ray and Nancy. The other students pictured are recipients of the award from our local area high schools.

CCGI Lessons for Students as Part of College Kickoff (CKO)
As part of our College Kickoff (CKO) activities, students will participate in CaliforniaColleges.edu (CCGI) lessons to explore their interests, strengths, and potential career paths. These lessons will help students connect their academic and personal interests to future college and career opportunities. When they’re ready to apply to colleges, CCGI will be the platform they use to submit their applications. Students can access the site directly at www.californiacolleges.edu or by launching through CLEVER. Encourage your student to take full advantage of these valuable lessons during CKO!
