WEEK 11
LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU SEE IT
GREATNESS FROM STAFF AND STUDENTS
CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATES
Some of our students take an untraditional approach to graduation. We are now starting to see the hard work paying off for some of our students in our Opportunity School Program! I wanted to highlight a couple of our recent graduates who have finished up everything they need to graduate with the 2025 cohort!!
BISON AWARD WINNER
Mrs. Schultz is our latest Bison Award winner. She was nominated by Ms. DeLey who said she has been a great help for her as a first year teacher and loves the organization she has in her classes. Ms. DeLey also commented on Mrs. Schultz always holding her students to a high standard to get the best out of them in class. Ms. DeLey said she models that in her classes as well and has already learned a lot from Mrs. Schultz!
TRUNK OR TREAT
Anne Rosario really does great things. I always know if she is in charge things will go as planned if not better!! Trunk or Treat was held in the staff parking lot on Halloween from 5-7 PM. Various clubs volunteered to come hand out candy to all of the community kids. We had over 500 kids come through our Trun or Treat and I am not sure who had more fun the kids receiving the candy or the kids giving candy out.
CAREERS
On Friday we our Career Coach Mr. Orme set up a visit from Culver's!!!! They set up in the cafeteria had some chances for kids to enter a drawing, talked to our kids about careers with Culver,s, and of course shared some delicious custard with everyone.

SPECIAL SHOUT OUT
Mr. and Mrs. Campbell and the RCHS Band
On Wednesday night the RCHS band held a Halloween Concert in the Laughlin Center. Not only was this a very entertaining evening but they stayed true to the theme and played many Halloween songs. They were absolutely terrific and I encourage anyone and everyone to get out to the next concert and watch these kids!! They put in countless hours in class and out of class. It is evident that this hard work pays off. These kids are extremely talented and deserve a spotlight for everything that they do!!!
GREATNESS IN THE CLASSROOM
SPEECH
In Ms. Teague's Speech class the students were doing Invitational Rhetoric Speeches. These kids did an amazing job speaking about some hot button topics and finding a way to not be controversial. They each stated facts from studies that they had read and were able to communicate those facts very well. They had a question and answer period after each speech and it was amazing to watch the interaction between the students.
