CCRPI Score - WAY TO GO ROSEBUD!
Rosebud is proud to share that we are the recipients of the Math and Literacy Leader award from the state of Georgia. We will attend the ceremony on March 13th. Our academic gains have led to the highest score Rosebud has ever received on the state report card (CCRPI). Our CCRPI score is an 88.1. We are so grateful for all the support you provide to your kiddos. Let's keep this great work going!
Car Rider Etiquette
Students love being a car rider in the morning to get their last-minute time in with you. Remember that the car rider lane closes at 8:10 AM, so if you are late to the car rider lane and the side doors are closed, you will have to come around the front of the building to drop your children off.
๐The car rider lane closes at 3:10 PM in the afternoon. Please make sure to pick up your child by 3:10 PM.
๐If you have transportation changes, you need to email rosebudtransportation@gcpsk12.org to notify the front office BEFORE 12 PM.

Enjoy Learning Together on These Special Days This Month
In April, nature seems to reawaken. April is also full of opportunities to reawaken your childโs interest in learning.
Celebrate these special days with some fun activities:
- International Childrenโs Book Day (April 2). This day is designed to inspire a love of reading. This yearโs theme is โThe Freedom of Imagination.โ Read a fiction book with your child. Then, ask your child to imagine a different ending.
- National Walking Day (April 2). Get out a map and help your child plan a new walking route to a familiar place. Walk there together. What new things do you notice?
- National Laundry Day (April 15). Look online together for pictures of early washing machines. Then, teach your child how laundry is done today.
- World Creativity and Innovation Day (April 21). What would your child like to invent? Have your student draw a picture of the invention.
- Teach Children to Save Day (April 24). Encourage financial literacy. Talk with your child about the difference between needs and wants, and about the different ways people save (in piggy banks and bank accounts, by using coupons, etc.). Have your student decide on something to save for.
- National Honesty Day (April 30). Talk with your child about why it is important to be honest every day!
