A quick note from the principal's desk...

Good Evening RPI Families,


Normally at this time of year, we are making the final preparations for school and send out a communication welcoming you back or into the building for the first time. Well, just like everything else going on, things aren't that normal. I'm sending you this because we are getting down to the wire with a lot of things. We have been working hard on our return to school and Rocket Virtual plans. Here are 4 links to information related to both scenarios:

  2. RPI In-Person Instruction - I know this says secondary and we are more of an elementary. This is purely due to busing and the time we start the day.
  3. Distance Learning - Should we be moved to phase 3 and schools are shut down.
  4. Rocket Virtual


NEWSWORTHY - Please look for information coming your way either in survey format or in your PowerSchool Demographic update email, to declare your intentions for "F2F" Face to Face Instruction or "RV" Rocket Virtual soon. You will be prompted to declare RV or F2F for the upcoming school year. The default will be F2F if you do not take the survey. The survey will close on August 31st.


With the date of our survey and the RV or F2F declaration our traditional rosters and teacher assignments will come out the week of September 1st. This is really late but we want to ensure that we have balanced classrooms and all of our students placed appropriately.


Once we notify you of your child's teacher placement you will be invited to a virtual open house with your child's teacher.


Last week, we sent out a general supply list. Here is a link to that again. However, your student(s) teacher(s) will have more specifics as we get close to the start of school!
