Our Women's Career Day went wonderfully -- students were able to learn from some amazing, accomplished women and got a look into a variety of different fields. Thank you so much to the volunteers for donating their time and knowledge to our event.

Congratulations to our Concert Band and String Orchestra for their outstanding performances on March 14th! The strings played a beautiful Festive Dance, while the band impressed with Foxwoods Overture. It was a packed house, also featuring fantastic performances from Adams, Stevenson, Wayne Memorial, and John Glenn.

Great job, Franklin musicians—your hard work truly paid off!

Parents and Guardians, our district is interested in hearing your opinion(s) on the school your student attends. If you have more than one child please start with your youngest child enrolled and respond according to their school. The survey will then repeat for additional children. Franklin Middle School aims to provide a positive and safe environment for students attending after-school athletic events. To ensure that all attendees can enjoy these events respectfully, we ask both students and parents/guardians to read, understand, and agree to the guidelines below. Failure to adhere to these expectations will result in removal from the event and potential suspension from attending future games for the remainder of the season. Students will not be allowed to attend home games until they have a signed contract on file with a parent signature. Paper copies were provided to students and additional copies are in the main office.

Attached is a list of our clubs and sports that we offer at Franklin.

Please see the attached document for an overview of some keys policies pertaining to cellphones, headphones, earbuds, hats, hoodies and backpacks. We will review these policies with students during our grade level assemblies.

If your child’s bus is canceled, please make sure to inform the school by calling the attendance line or speaking with our counseling secretary Ms. Braswell. Let them know that the absence is due to a bus cancellation. The secretary will mark your child’s attendance with a “B” for bus cancellation, which will not count against them for truancy purposes.
