Dear Morris Families,

I hope you all enjoyed the extended weekend and are staying warm as we navigate the winter season. While I am not much of a winter person myself, I am eagerly looking ahead to spring and all the exciting events we have planned!

Please take a moment to review the list of upcoming calendar events below. We will provide reminders and additional details as these dates draw closer, but I hope this helps you plan ahead for what is always a busy and exciting time of year.

Safety in Our Parking Lot

Over the past week, there have been several near-misses in the parking lot due to speeding. Please remember that the speed limit is 5 miles per hour at all times in the parking lot. Safety is our top priority, and we all play a part in keeping our students, staff, and families safe during drop-off and pick-up. Let’s work together to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

As we continue to plan for the best possible experience for your child, we are asking for your input. Please take a few minutes to complete our school survey. Your feedback is incredibly important and will help us improve and shape our programs to meet the needs of every student.

Valentines Day

As Valentine's Day grows closer. I wanted to remind families when purchasing Valentines Cards for your child's classroom, we do not allow Valentines with food or candy to be passed out. Several children have food allergies. Paper Valentines are best. Please reach out to me with any questions

Family Valentine Dance

LMMHS is once again planning the family Valentine dance at the LCC.

This year it will take place on Saturday, February 8 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Tickets are $10 per person. We have a great DJ, unlimited use of a photo booth and a door prize. There will also be raffles and concessions available for $1.

We do not sell tickets at the door so interested families must RSVP in advance. There is a 200 person occupancy limit at the LCC so tickets are limited.
