Memories Come Rushing Back As Time Capsule Is Opened
Eight years ago, Beth Sandbothe and her 4th grade class worked on a time capsule project. They gathered pictures, classroom objects, and letters to themselves they wouldn’t open till their senior year. Last week those 9 and 10-year-old students returned to High Pointe as high school seniors just days away from graduating high school and were finally able to open the time capsule, which had been in storage for the last 8 years.

The Junior High Artist of the Week is Finnigan Fleming
The Junior High Artist of the Week is Finnigan Fleming! Artist of the Week is sponsored by Rocco's Pizza of Nixa.
"Finn is one of the coolest kids you will ever meet. He is so passionate about singing and choir and he strives to get better every day. Finn wants to be a choir director someday, so there's hardly a day that goes by where he doesn't ask me if he can teach or conduct the class. I always let him because the kids like him conducting better than me! He is such a joy to have in class and I am going to miss him when he goes to the high school next year." - Dr. Blake Richter, director of choirs
"When I was little, my grandma wanted me to be in choir. She liked my singing, so that is why I decided to join choir. Now, my dream is to become a choir director when I grow up. I love getting to help Dr. Richter conduct and teach the class!" - Finnigan Fleming
