Principal's Message
Dear Bannes Community,
We are thrilled to announce that we have completed our first quarter of the school year, and it has been wonderful to see our students continuing to learn, grow, and achieve new milestones every day. Our Illinois School Report Card designation was released on October 30th, and we are pleased to share that our scores continue to show improvement thanks to the hard work of our students, staff, and families.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up soon, and we want to emphasize how essential these meetings are in supporting each child’s progress and success. Conferences provide a valuable opportunity for teachers and families to connect, discuss students’ accomplishments, and set goals for the coming months. We appreciate your partnership in helping each student reach their full potential.
We would also like to congratulate Bella in third grade, who won the Fire Prevention Contest! Bella will treated to an exciting ride to school on a fire truck! We would also like to congratulate Bea who won a raffle, and also had a ride to school on a fire truck —what an unforgettable experience!
Looking ahead, we warmly invite the veterans in our Bannes community to join us for our Veteran's Day assembly on November 7th at 9 AM. This is a special opportunity for us to honor and celebrate the veterans in our community and to show appreciation for their service.
Thank you for your continued support. We are grateful for all you do to build that home/school connection!
Sincerely,
Ms. Folliard
Principal, Bannes Elementary
