Isham Insights
September 2024
From the Principal's Desk
Isham Families,
I am honored and excited to join the Isham family as your new principal! It has been an amazing start to the year, and I am excited to partner with you to continue to create a supportive, joyful, and safe environment where every child can succeed. My goal is to collaborate closely with students, staff, and families to ensure that our school continues to be a place where children love to learn and grow.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this school year an incredible one. Please know that my door is always open for you, and I welcome your ideas and feedback as we embark on this journey together. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
Go Team,
Mr. Joe Shalala

Drop Off/Dismissal
Thank you so much for your patience as we get into the groove of drop off and pick up routines. We went from a 20 minute dismissal down to 15 in just one day! My hope is that this consistency allows for a smooth process all year. Please note a couple of reminders below.
- Right hand turns in and out of the Isham loop/parking lot during the 20 minute drop off and pick up windows
- Please pull all the way up the the fire hydrant during drop off so that we can get as many vehicles off the road as possible. Your students can enter the doors near the hydrant as well.
School Fees
Just a reminder to please pay your student curriculum fees. You may pay those online through Payschools (the set up can be found on our District Website). You may also pay them via cash/check to the school.
If you have questions or would need assistance setting up your Payschools account please contact the office at 330-335-1440.
Clinic Clips
Just a friendly reminder to please pack an extra change of clothes for your child that they can keep in their backpack or cubby at school.
Thank you.

Counselor's Corner
Isham parents & guardians,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I have LOVED seeing so many smiling faces over the last two weeks. It is such a wonderful feeling having everyone back in the building and seeing the classrooms full of joy and laughter. I’ve included one of my favorite quotes which always comes to mind at the start of a new school year.
“I continue to believe that if children are given the necessary tools, they will succeed beyond their wildest dreams!” - David Vitter
Your students are strong! They are smart! They are resilient! And we will do everything in our power to help them reach their highest potential. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback, please let me know. I can be contacted by email at treagan@wadsworthschools.org or by phone at (330) 335 - 1440. We are here for you and your students. Bring on the 2024-2025 school year!!!
