BDJH PTA News Mar 25

Our students have been working hard to earn PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) points. We need volunteer, Friday, April 4, to help during lunches so students can cash in their points for rewards.

The BDJH PTA is proud to announce our Beckendorff JH PTA Teacher Grant Program recipients for the 2024-2025 school year:

- Fine Arts/Choir - "Sound Company for Elementary Tour with Band, Orchestra and Choir" for $750.00

- Library - "Lone Star Reading List/Book Wars Grant" for $1,500

- 8th Grade English KAP/GT- "Historical Fiction Novels" for $1,053.20

- Special Education - "Motoring Through a Multi-sensory Experience - Part 2" for $2,695.95

- 6th Grade English KAP/GT - " Mystery Novel Book Club" for $1,462.56

The money to support these projects is from our PTA fundraising efforts: spirit wear, Fun Food Days, Spirit nights, and school supplies sales.

We hope to continue the grant program in future years to enhance the learning of all of our students.
