The Hamilton Middle School Student Ambassadors are a group of students who are focused on leadership and their community. These students had the pleasure of having Mayor Kirk join them for their December meeting to discuss government, leadership, and paths to the future. We are so grateful to have such a giving person in our community as our leader!

Have your student submit their next writing assignment to help them get feedback before they get graded.

Please make sure your child knows of their transportation arrangements each day. If a change needs to be made, please contact the school BEFORE 2:00 so we can get the message to your child. Contacting the school after 2:00 does not guarantee that your child will get the message.

1. Car riders should exit the building using the front doors.

2. Students should enter the vehicle once it has pulled up to the sidewalk area. If you do not see your student, please continue to move forward so we can keep the line moving.

3. Students should not be walking across the parking lot or the grassy area to get to a car that is not yet to the sidewalk. This causes a significant safety concern!

4. Drivers, please drive slowly, follow the flow of traffic and be patient!

When implemented with fidelity, PBIS improves social emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It also improves teacher health and wellbeing. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable and safe learning environments where everyone thrives.

Our staff and, by extension, our community take on the challenge of doing even more for our students. We educate the whole child.
