The Westgate Wire

A Note from Cara and Ann
We have had another successful week!
Below are a few reminders...
- A huge SHOUT OUT to the Morrison Family for donating Wilson basketballs for our wolverines to play with during recess. We are grateful for their generosity!
- It has come to our attention that the PTA Post has been going to some people's spam folders. Please be sure to check your spam folders so you do not miss important information from PTA.
- Although we love dogs, they are not allowed on school property. It is best to meet your child away from the building and congested areas if you are bringing a family pet to pick up your child. Thank you for your help!

A Note from the Health Office: Cough Drops
It's that time of year for colds, sniffles, and sore throats!
REMINDER: cough drops are an over-the-counter medication and are not allowed at school. They can be stored in the health office for your student with the following 3 steps!
1. If your student requires cough drops during the school day, you will need to complete a Medication - Authorization Form with physician's signature;
2. Provide an unopened package of drops for the health office, not just individually wrapped drops;
3. Drops need to be dropped off by a parent, they cannot be sent in a student's backpack.
Westgate PTA’s Fall Fest will be Friday, September 27 from 5:30-7:30pm at Pioneer Park. All families are welcome.
