May Edition
Delgado's Notes
May is a month of celebration. We started off May celebrating our teachers. There week was full of the love and admiration that we have for them. A special thank you to the PTA for providing a plethora of treats and prizes for the Frost staff. The work , time and efforts truly made this a week to remember. We also celebrated Nurse Abbruscato for Nurse Appreciation Week. We are so fortunate to have a caring and compassionate nurse at our school. She is always available to help our students who need medical attention or to just chat!
We kicked off the month with our family meeting on May 1st. Our monthly theme, Launch into Your Future, was introduced to our students. During this meeting Mrs. Chan defined what it means to have a career and spoke with students about the different careers that can begin to prepare for. This meeting also prepared our students for our mobile career day that took place on May 8th. In recognition of Food Allergy Awareness Month, Nurse Abbruscato took a moment to discuss the different types of food allergies and how students can be safe if they have a food allergy or how to help a friend who may have an allergy.
I also wanted to thank our Performing Arts team ( Ms. Kam, Mr. Carson and Mr. D'Andrea) for creating such a beautiful Spring Concert. Our students did such an amazing job. I am so proud of their efforts and their hard work turned into a night to remember.
Happy Mother's Day to all of our Frost Moms. We hope that you have an amazing and restful day!!

Career Day-Jobs on Wheels Event
What an amazing day we had on Thursday, May 8th! Our hallways were filled with future doctors, firefighters, teachers, and so many other inspiring career choices as students dressed up to show what they hope to become.
The Jobs on Wheels event was a huge hit! Students had the opportunity to explore various vehicles while learning directly from professionals about their fascinating careers. Back in the classroom, teachers guided follow-up activities to help our students discover the wide world of career possibilities.
Food Allergy Awareness Day - Tuesday, May 20th
We invite all students to wear red on Tuesday, May 20th to show support for Food Allergy Awareness. Our wonderful Nurse Abbruscoto recently spoke to everyone during our Frost Family Meeting about being a thoughtful friend to classmates with food allergies. This is a great opportunity to continue these important conversations at home!
Thank you for being such amazing partners in your child's education. Your support makes our Frost community truly special!
