We are definitely reading! This year there were over 26,000 books checked out from the Lower School Library. This is the most books that have ever been checked out in a single school year.

Top 5 Titles

There have been so many books checked out this year, but there are a few that make it into the top five. This years top five titles are all graphic novels. They include Dog Man Grime and Punishment, Super Rabbit Racers, Guts, The Bad Guys in the Big, Bad Wolf, and Cadwad, It's Me

This summer, public libraries in the area will launch their summer programs. Your local library will have a variety of events planned for all ages. If you participate in your public library summer reading program you will be eligible for rewards when you return to school in September. Click here to learn more!

You always have access to the DCDS electronic resources throughout the summer. We have eBooks available from Sora. Use your child's DCDS login to access this resource. You can learn from the PebbleGo database too! This resources includes of topics from animals, science, biographies, and more! Click the eBooks tab at the top to read one of the 3,500 eBooks that are available. The username is yellowdcds and the password is jackets.

Summer Reading Club at Schuler Books
