Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we move into May, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress our students have made this school year. It is hard to believe we are nearing the end of another school year!
May brings with it a sense of renewal and excitement as we prepare for various end-of-year activities, including assessments, field trips, and our promotion ceremony. These events not only showcase our students' hard work but also foster a sense of community and school spirit.
I encourage all our students to stay focused during this final stretch. It’s important to maintain our commitment to learning and to support one another as we finish strong.
Thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families for your continued partnership. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students.

Honk! JR
The Yamhill Carlton Theatre Department has been working hard over the last few months on the spring musical Honk! JR. Performances will be Thursday, May 22 thru Saturday, May 24th with a 7:00 evening performance each day and a 3:00 matinee on Saturday.
Please join us as we celebrate their hard work.

8th Grade Promotion is scheduled for Monday, June 9th at 6:30 at the YC Stadium. The 8th Grade Awards Dessert will be at 1:00 in the YCIS gym. We have started collecting pictures for the 8th Grade Slide Show. Email pictures of your 8th grader to tuningj@ycschools.org
Cell Phones are off and away the whole day. Students are to keep their cell phones, smart watches, etc. in their backpacks. We are happy to deliver a message to your student, please call the office at 503-852-7660 for messages and any end of the day instructions that need to be relayed.
Morning Drop Off: The building opens at 7:45 for student drop off. Students may go to the cafeteria for free breakfast, the gym or courtyard.
Afternoon Pick up: Please pull in and scan the QR Code to let us know you are here to pick up your student. We will send them to you.
Lost and Found: Our lost and found is starting to accumulate. If your student is missing something please have them check the lost and found.
