Students finding purpose in God
AND...
Instead, it rolls over to the easy chair, switches on the Television, and takes a nap. How does it feel knowing that the invention that you created for a purpose is rejecting the very reason for which you created it? In my head, that is how I imagine God feels when we choose to ignore His purpose for our lives.
This month your students have been learning that they were created for a reason. God has a specific purpose for each and every one of their lives. We are all unique, with distinct talents and abilities, fearfully and wonderfully created by a loving God who desires that we display that uniqueness and gifting for His ultimate purpose. We learned that although we are unique, we all have the same ultimate purpose for living; which is to glorify God by loving Him and being a picture of Him to others.
Our bible verse for the month has been Psalm 139:14, which says "How You have made me is amazing and wonderful, I praise You for that. What You have done is wonderful, I know that very well." God certainly has created some awesome kids who attend MSA! We praise Him for them, and are excited to see them grow in the knowledge and wisdom of Him!
