MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL NELSON
DMS Community,
We are excited to welcome our learners for the 24-25 school year! On Tuesday, September 3rd 6th grade learners will attend school for WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) orientation day. WEB leaders and staff are excited to welcome you to our DMS community! WEB day will feature fun social opportunities, team building, and meeting all your teachers. The first day of school for all grades will be Wednesday, September 4th.
This year as a learning community, DMS will focused on our core values of Community, Empathy, and Purpose. We will spend an extended time in Tiger Connections reviewing these core values, as well as, the DMS Learner Expectation Matrix. We ask that you discuss these words and expectation as a family.
Please read below for several important announcements and information as we begin the school year. We appreciate your partnership to make it a great year and will see all of our learners next week!
Please reach out if we can support in anyway.
Have great weekend!
Andy Nelson, Principal

PERSONAL USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
The school board recently approved policy 1022 around personal technology use for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. We wanted to take a moment to let our families know about how this will affect our learning communities moving forward.
Starting with the 2024-2025 school year at Boeckman and Dodge Middle Schools, cell phones will need to remain silent and kept out of sight during the school day. This will be from when students enter the building until they leave. More detailed information was emailed to families on August 16th and will be reviewed with learners as we being the school year.
LEARNER PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
Click here for important reminders for student drop off and pick up. We do ask that vehicles line up on the route indicated in purple for safety reasons. Also, please be mindful of the crosswalk outside of door 17 as staff and learners exit the building.
TRANSPORTATION
Busing information is now available for the 24-25 school year. Transportation information can be found under the "more" tab in Campus Portal. Any questions can be directed to Marshal Line at 651-463-8689.
