✅ Be Aware of Safety Training Exercises at Wayne High School
Next week, July 29 through August 2, the Huber Heights Police Division is partnering with Huber Heights City Schools, Huber Heights Fire Division, and other agencies to host Active Shooter Training at Wayne High School. This training exercise helps ensure that all local agencies can respond as a team if a crisis occurs in our area. The HHCS community can expect to see a heavy police presence at the school during this time. Please be mindful of this if you need to visit Wayne High School next week as several areas in the building and parking lot will be blocked off for the exercise.

✅ Stock Up on School Supplies
✅ Update or Complete Your Student’s FinalForms Account
FinalForms completion confirms your student will be attending Huber Heights City Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. A student’s FinalForms account is used to determine class schedules, busing information, and more, so it is important for all students to have accurate and complete information on file at the start of the school year. Students can complete their portion of FinalForms on the first day of school if they do not have access to their school email.
RETURNING STUDENTS: Parents/legal guardians must update and sign off on all FinalForms documents. If your family has moved, please upload supporting documents for your new address.
NEW or TRANSFER STUDENTS: Parents/legal guardians must create a FinalForms account, complete all documents, and upload all required documentation by August 8, to ensure their student(s) can begin school on August 15.
Please visit our FinalForms website to access the forms for your student(s). If you have questions, email the HHCS Registrar at registrar@myhhcs.org.
✅ Review Bus Route Information for the 2024-2025 School Year
To improve bus route efficiency, Huber Heights City Schools is using a new software tool called TransFinder to help redesign our transportation routes for the 2024-2025 school year. The goal of the new route system is to decrease the amount of time students spend being transported to and from school each day and the number of miles driven by our transportation staff.
The redesigned bus routes will result in fewer, more centralized stops within our neighborhoods. The large majority of students will still be less than a quarter mile from their bus stop, which is well below Ohio’s required half-mile limit.
To view your transportation route for the 2024-2025 school year, visit the Transportation Information page in FinalForms after August 2. If you have questions, contact our Transportation Department at 937-237-6385.
✅ Submit Your Meal Benefits Application
Now is the time to submit your application for free or reduced lunch meal benefits for the 2024-25 school year! Families must submit a new application each year, and only one application per family is needed. Visit linqconnect.com to get started and be sure to finalize the application in FinalForms to ensure your application is processed.
Did you know that students eligible for free lunch benefits can also waive their school fees for the year? Submit your application as soon as possible so it can be approved before the first day of school.
Have questions? Contact HHCS Nutrition Services at 937-237-6398.
✅ Purchase a Parking Pass (Wayne High School Students)
Students planning to drive to school will need to purchase a parking pass to park in the school lot.
Parking pass sales begin on the following dates and parking spaces are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Seniors Only: August 5 (7:30-11 a.m. and Noon-3 p.m.)
Underclassmen: August 6 (7:30-11 a.m. and Noon-3 p.m.)
Parking passes are $20 (free for Renaissance students) and payment is required using cash, credit, or a cashier’s check at the time of purchase. Remaining passes will be available for purchase throughout the school year during regular office hours.
To purchase a pass, students will need their driver’s license (temporary permits are not accepted), proof of insurance, and a completed parking pass application (both pages) which can be found at wayne.myhhcs.org/access-forms-photos. Students who obtain their driver's license during the school year can purchase a parking pass at that time.
NEW THIS YEAR: Wayne Seniors Can Paint Their Parking Space
Wayne Seniors can purchase the right to paint their parking space for the year. To purchase your spot, students must submit their design by August 2 for review by logging into their school Google account and visiting forms.gle/vShXrfcz9QdCXSXD8.
A $30 painting fee is required for all students and can be paid on August 5 when students purchase their parking spot. Parking spot painting will take place on August 7, from 9 a.m.-noon, and August 8, from 4-7 p.m. If needed, weather-related schedule changes will be communicated via the email provided in the design submission form.
Visit tinyurl.com/53jxv9n9 for more information on parking spot painting.
