Wildcat Families,
Yesterday, Governor Kemp issued an Executive Order that schools will remain closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of this school year. While this is certainly not what we may have wanted or hoped for, it truly is in the best interest of everyone that will come through the doors of SES and every other school in this state. Ms. Maxey and I are hosting two Virtual Town Hall Meeting sessions to talk to our Wildcat Families and answer questions that you all may have, and see how we can better support our families during this time.
As I expressed with the staff, I KNOW there are tons of questions, concerns, and emotions that are going through everyone’s mind, head, and hearts right now. While I know it hurts, I also know this will make us stronger as a school, a school district, a state, and as a profession.
I’m extremely proud of all of our SES faculty & staff, students, and all of our parents/ guardians for all of the hardwork and level of dedication that has been displayed during our unexpected Digital Learning Days. The level of #WildcatPride displayed is remarkable! As we continue to walk through this journey together and without minimizing the many emotions that could possibly exist, we want to reassure you that we are here for you.
